This is what I got below. Unless I labeled the files wrong my 2 and 3 roms are swapped from that set. I did not realize this at the time because I didn't display the CRCs all at once. Does the order matter for those 4? I just noticed the 4 rom was the same and figured, "what the hell, why not...
That's what it is. Mine is the US or english version. I used the 01 rom from the set in the post below. I will say that my crcs didn't match all of the roms in the sf89_chr.rar file probably because that one was Japanese but since it matched one of them I figured it couldn't hurt to try it...
I have 7 more Fluffy boards I haven't used. I didn't know other games can run on them. Which other one is worth doing buying an authentic cart? I'm thinking Puzzle Star may be the best one. Are there any instructions for these games such as do I need to run a script on original roms and rom...
They key here was making something tv friendly and not needing to make new cases if I ever get a new supergun. I wanted to make safe in storage from water damage and make it quick to swap games. I hate spinning the boards around to remove bubble wrap. This way physical contact to the board is...
Here are a few different HAS adapters with different boards that cover most situations. Sega system 16 needs a jamma adapter, so I extended it and added support for that, double dragon has the jamma edge on the second level, karate champ needs an adapter too and has the jamma edge on the 2nd...
No ventilation because I am designing it to be played with the top off. I may print another top that can be used for all of them when playing. The heat inserts are only for the supergun mount and in the top on the 4 corners. The PCB is held to the bottom by drilling small holes and using the...
I've been working on making a universal storage system for all my arcade PCBs to minimize the handling needed. Basically they are just a 3d printed boxes I resize and the I drill small holes in the base where I want things to line up. I use M3 heat inserts and thumb screws for the HAS V5...
I need some help getting this board going again. I messed up one of the EPROMs and need to reprogramed it however it seems to be running a non standard rom set. I thought it would be as simple as dumping the roms and figuring out what rom set it has and reprograming the missing rom. My rom...
To anybody that ever stumbles upon this thread I fixed this problem. Apparently my stupid replacement Zirlog z80bs I bought from ebay aren't microprocessors. Image below. I guess they need to say CPU on them and not all z80bs say "z80b" on them. They have a part number on them like...
This board wasn't booting but I was able to resolve that issue. I thought it would be as simple as replacing the encrypted chip with a z80b and replacing the A7 eprom but no dice. I do ear a small hum that gets louder or quieter if I turn the volume pot.
Z80b
6 clock = pulsing
16 INT = L

I'm finding mixed info about shinobi and the encrypted chips. Some of the info I am finding is that Shinobi will just lose sound if the battery fails. I am capable or replacing the CPU and reflashing the eproms without an issue. I was just wondering if Shinobi with no picture can be related...
I just finished building all 3 cartridges and they seem to be working. I compiled the roms using the script command python rom_gen.py *.zip. My question is regarding DoDonPachi DaiOuJou and the use of the J2 jumper. With no J2 jumper installed the game boots and works as intended. I see a...
Thanks. This was a big help. I have the Atmel chips and just realized I messed up on my digikey order getting only 1 .6w 100 ohm resistor. I have tons of .25w and .5 watt resistors but none .6w or bigger. Oh well I can still test 1 cart out tonight.
