I partly solved it by reflashing the bios the usual way and I am getting video now since I wasn't before and couldn't tell if it was flashing. Although when I do its doesn't take and Im just getting continues resetting now after i remove jumper 1.
update: Ok pcmcia adapter is shot that explains...
I seem to have a corrupted bios on one of my mod bios gnet boards (good to have a backup). Seems once your modbios gets corrupted there's no going back and reflashing doesn't work. I believe the flash bios is a soldered tsop56 and has to desolderd with a hot air station and a tsop56 adapter with...
I could try to utilize the one pot as both. The circuit board is just for the traces. I could actually remove it and the pots are normal ones with a thin top nut, although they are about half inch wide. I didnt have a hard time finding 5k pots in that size on the net.
The trigger is just...
Ill know more when I hook it to the real hardware. Hopefully the game loads up. The photo in this thread shows 5k potentiometers so shouldn't be too difficult to replicate the signal. Constructing a cable from old cat wire now.
Well just for your info or anyone else's. This controller consists of 3 pots. I would have to figure out what their ratings are and go from there. I could try and just utilize the 1 trigger pot and the steering pot alone then figure out if I can mod them with resistors or replace them. Take some...
I ordered some Sandisk 256mb cards. Seems like a bad cf card to me.
Taking alot of trial and error for sure. Conversions working now with Sandisk cards.
Works great. Some games aren't working for me. Specifically the conversions seem to have missing files when I copy them to the cf card. The 2011 bios flashed easily with jumper 1 and updated bios eeprom.
Chaos Heat here.
I could get the Playstation controller right now for $35. I just purchased it and came under $40 shipped. Not bad. I'll know more when I receive it if it has pots or some kind of optic sensor.
Your right it would have to be hacked and rewired. I think the PS1 version would be the best candidate since they are more common and usually sell for less so no need to hack up an SS controller. The Playstation version should feel at home with the Gnet. A little rewiring should get you by...
Would something like this work? i might test this out with my supergun which has built in Saturn controller ports. Im sure its too good to be true so still need to be rewired possibly since im not sure if the controls would work through my supergun. It would definitely eliminate some work and...
hardware 27 error 2
Comes up world version and story, names, and highscore input is in english. After about a minute into demo or in game play I get this error. I've burned it several times with same result on two different eeproms. I've run the X delta against the mame rom same result...
Hello new to this message board but not new to gaming and arcade machines. So I've been gaming on this supergun. Mostly PGM IGS games and it works great with the DB15 and a Neo Geo 4 button controller. This supegun also boasts 6 button control scheme.
So I'm experimenting with the idea of some...
