For the Game Tengoku ROMs? I haven't, but I could. The security chip has the number printed on it, so unless that's wrong it's the right one as far I can tell.

I actually did that earlier. Lol. It's on 100ns too. I can credit it and hear sound. So it's playing blind at least.

So do I need decrypted ROMs? Or do I just need to try redoing those?

Yeah. It goes past that to this screen. It almost looks like something is going on underneath the static. I'll check out redoing 10 and 11 a little later today.

I found a junk Rev X board with lots of 27c040 100ns chips on it and replaced 26-29. Still doesn't work entirely, but progress! I now get this garbled screen followed by static. Power is fine an upping it some didn't help.

The chips I used for 26-29 do look kind of suspicious now that you mention it. Unfortunately the rest of the ones I have of that size are 150ns or 120ns.

Actually, checking this does show different locations than the file names do. So I'll try the ones from the mame drivers first instead because they aren't using slot 8.

Yeah. I made sure it was the MS32 version. Based off comparing the other boards to the MAME ROMs, it doesn't seem like they line up. For example, Game Tengoku has an MR94041.08 ROM but that board doesn't even have a socket in 8. But there is a MASK ROM labeled MR94041-08 in slot 4. Same board...
