Finally got around to looking at this again, no matter what I did it wouldn't update while connected to my router over wifi. I went ahead and moved to using a router setup, ethernet to the naomi and wipi and it updated normally after that.
I run big box, it launches all games, steam, mame, pc, etc as well as AHK scripts to change orientation and things. You can put the computer to sleep from inside the menu as well. I still have a small kb+mouse pad i sit on top for when I need to do something outside big box. Like this,
If you use emulators at all you can use Launchbox-Bigbox to integrate everything including steam into one front end. I have mame, teknoparrot, steam and individual game exes launch from bigbox with custom AHK scripts, screen flip, shaderglass, etc.
Ill be making my own, but looks like he is using simliar to amp up in his sales thread. Gonna do a bulk order on digikey and was going to add this stuff in :)
Nothing :) Wasnt sure what people used these days. Would like something that isnt a pain to disconnect, wasnt sure if there was a standard used in newer cabinets as well. My chewlix had AMP UP if I remember correct but they were glued and I just cut them out so I am open to any connector. Might...

This is what I experienced as well, I had this issue with my Naomi on my Blast City. The pillarboxing caused me to run out of adjustment room, I had to expand it in the service menu :O
Stupid question, I have the Pi hooked to my home router and in "home wifi" mode. It pulls an IP and I can access from any computer, but when I try to update I get the there is no internet connection message. Is there something else I need to do to give the pi access to the internet?
I doubt it, I ended up making it out of a USBA to USBC cord. I was more worried about the cable itself not the naomi, i had noticed USBA wiring is rated for 3.1A. I decided it probably wouldnt pull that and not long enough to melt anything, even if it did I am sitting next to it when its on. So...
Any advise on what to make a power cable with for USBC on the RPI4B? I just pulled apart a usba to usbc power cable and the wires are pretty thin, looks like max amperage on usba is 3.1amps. Is it better to just use GPIO?
