Neither, the Vewlix arrived without hardware. It's just a regular computer with STEAM, Project Outfox (DDR), emulators and roms.

I’m sorry I’m not sure I understand the question. The Vewlix uses a PC for convenience. The other arcades such as the Neo Geos and the Mortal Kombat uses real arcade boards. I hope that answers your question?
