Misco used to sell drop-in replacement VS speakers, model SDC25S. But sadly, it appears they no longer produce them. Not to quote GZA, but I think they are clock radio speakers. :)

I have a MS8 in a Madonna and it had some diagonal line interference...turned out to be a ground wire(earth) that was connected to the replacement PSU. Dunno if it's gonna harm the CRT over time, but at least the pic was clear now that I unhooked it.

I've been hunting a replacements for years but I ended up just re-foaming the surrounds. I could not get a thin enough material to allow the cone to move freely, so a lot of bass is gone but at least they do not "fart" anymore.

I was waiting for someone else to chime in with the zone D bkdg gfx issue, glad it's not just me. A very minor problem so I was just gonna live with it. Hopefully with more folks playing through Extra, we can find other problems to help narrow down the issue (just like prior post).
