I have my New Net City (sega jvs io) linked to my Blast City (sega jamma to jvs io) and I haven't encountered this that I can recall. How long does it typically take to crash?
My house voltage is pretty high. It can be as high as 129v. I got a 120->100 stepdown and the resulting output was like 110-115.
I had a lot of problems with my MS8 New Astro City so I tried the stepdown. All it did was change the pitch of the whine in my chassis and the light stopped working...
Do you still have a battery in your dimm? I thought my voltages were fine but it was actually dipping just enough during boot to give errors and only sometimes.
Absolutely do not try to carry a Noir up stairs by yourself. Fully disassembled the base is still like twice the weight of a Vewlix. I was impatient and did it myself and now I've got the injuries to show for it.
I did try a tubular lock pick. I was able to pick the locks on my Vewlix with it, but not this AWSD. Also that wouldn't help with the coin box.
Yeah I've removed the coin door and front door locks from the back panel so far. The control panel seems like a pain but I'll give it a go before...
Has anyone that picked up these AWSDs figured out what keys they use? It seems like they're not the normal LY-1153 used on Egrets and Vewlixes.
I'm about to just drill them out but I hate wasting otherwise good locks.
Thanks, I see there's plenty of access for the front door and coin door. I don't suppose there's any tricks to open the control panel non destructively too?
FWIW I ordered a set of tubular lock picks too, I'll post results when they get here if I can't come across a key.
I'm looking for a set of keys to buy or borrow for an AWSD. I assume the door and panel key are all the same but the coin bucket is probably a more unique cut.
I would really prefer to not have to drill these out.
Also I should mention the 50mm ones are almost definitely too short. 100mm is too long but if you have a hole in the top of the foot like on later Vewlix models, it'll just poke through.
60mm-80mm is probably the correct length but I have not seen those for sale at places like Amazon.
I didn't print that one specifically but it's my design and I do offer to print them.
