running X3 w 4.1 multi image. Vewlix black diamond w original jvs board. I enabled jvs io in the interface, nothing happens. Probably doing something stupid but not sure what. Ripping my hair out.

I just got a vewlix (jvs) and attached my x3 to it. The x3 had the artax 1.4 image. I can’t get the controller to work. I launched the JVS app in the front end, but nothing. Everything seems to be wired up correctly but I feel there is Something obvious I’m missing.

Very insightful. my Gnet board works and can load original cards. Can I assume that the flash chip works or even if the board loads original cards the flash chip could be compromised?

I checked the notch and it was already oriented correctly. FWIW, without the jumper, official GNEt cards work with the modded EPROM in Are you suggesting I put the original EPROM in? Jumper in or out? Or any idea on how to fix this? Thanks so much in advance

thanks. I got the raw file, flashed to the CF card with HDD Raw tool. no change. still get the 1F100000 ERASE ERROR with the jumper on, 'system error' right after the GNet with the jumper off. Is it possible I mounted the chip upside down or it doesn't really matter?

I’m having issues loading pretty much all games with the exception of ghouls n ghosts which works great. Final fight is audio only. Cadillac and dinosaurs shows the opening screen and then nothing. Others only show black screen. Any clue?

The dude is super nice but in Korea - quoted something like 5k for a 6PCB tower + 1k for shipping to the US. He does amazing work but I cannot believe there is no one States side that can build something like that - maybe less fancy but with the same functionalities
