so i had a feeling this may not be the original monitor in here... first time seeing this... homson? is this normal for an ok baby? i mean regardless, just hoping it's far more of a common tube to replace.
the person i got it from also told me it wasn't shpposed to have a broken monitor so...
i really appreciate that. thank you sm!
i do want to keep it cheap... but having trouble finding anything both local and affordable for a replacement...
which is why i was hoping just get a tube replacement lol. would be easiest to just find another ok baby and yank it out of there.
hehHEHEH you got me.
I would like to prevent doing another LCD since we have all those Nova Blasts on the way... If push comes to shove I wouldn't really mind. So we could totally check it out if you would like to bring it on in, thank you!
WELL. If I really should replace it. Seems like JCL...
Howdy. Just picked up an OK Baby for dirt cheap only expecting to do some plastic welding on the body but seems like I have a bigger issue to resolve. REALLY do not want to have to replace the whole monitor. Looking for applicable replacements for the tube on this guy because all else seems...
No luck on either replacing the roms or doing a fresh NEOSD install. Still crashes. But for a few attempts after it would just switch to a black screen.
Then eventually went back to crashing...
No clue what the problem could be.
The only game that isn't working is Galaxy Fight so I guess I'll...
Okay, breakthrough.
It seems after filling all 4 slots, loading a new game on the NEOSD, and another deep clean it has somehow fixed itself.
I got a a chunk of other legit carts in the mail so i filled all the slots out with them and they would cycle perfectly fine with the game select.
But when...
went ahead and cleaned everything a second time for good measure, cleared the SRAM through the full hard dip on method, and then moved the cartridges in several different configurations with still no luck... thanks much for your suggestion regardless.
over the weekend I did remember a time...
Howdy, everyone.
Was hoping somebody might have some insight for an issue I do not see being discussed... basically anywhere..
So I have an MVH 4 (the kind with the mesh shielding, not the solid metal plate) 4 slot in my MVS and any time I try pressing the select game button, the next game will...
Today I cap off this saga, everyone. lol.
The Naochitri with the replacement Dimm arrived yesterday and all has been working well and consistent since...
Wanted to give it a full day before jumping the gun again but the N2 seems to finally be working great!
With the help of Nem I also got my...
I don't know how I didn't notice that was a w and not a v... jfc.
but killer! i've now got a nice toggled led tube coming in and will give that all a shot. tysm nem!
Howdy. Sorry to dig up this old thread but I was looking into getting a much brighter bulb in my blast city as well. the one in mine is definitely not stock and looks like it's 5v.
I recently dropped a 120v led bar in my MVS and looks snappy as hell. I've seen that most cabs run 120v to their...
The N2 does boot into error 01 without a cartridge seated which I believe is normal.
I do not have a pi around but I went ahead and ordered a Naochitri which is coming from the guy who makes em in Austria. So I can report back with details about that soon...
I ordered a bundle they had that...
Got in early today and tried pushing it up to 3.4v... Still nothing... Pretty certain it's the Netdimm... Not sure what else it could be.
Tried separating the Netdimm and cleaning the contacts on its daughter board, have re-seated it with the N2 a million times to try and make that miracle...
Was looking in this thread and I may not be pumping enough voltage into the 3.3v line...
I've only tried between 3.20-3.30 to be safe. They recommended to pump 3.4v to the line... Sound okay? A bit nervous about that...
