    WTB WTB USB2DB15 Adapter

I got my FTDI programmer today and experienced the same issue - then I noticed the serial pins on the arduino are not actually connected to the corresponding pads on the custom PCB at all, I guess because this version has the arduino on top of the USB host shield rather than directly against the...

    WTB WTB USB2DB15 Adapter

I've got mine working! I think I fried the one I fully desoldered, but once I had it open and could get a better look at things, I figured out a way to run that 5V jumper without taking them apart, and it worked well on the other 3. It will require a soldering iron with a very fine tip though...

    WTB WTB USB2DB15 Adapter

I do. I managed to desolder mine with some chip quik and a heat gun that was definitely overkill for the little guy and ended up also blowing off the usb connector and pushbutton  I found that they did cut the trace on the usb host shield as instructed on the github, but didn't wire...

    WTB WTB USB2DB15 Adapter

I complained to the AE seller and he confirmed that I'd need to run at jumper from JP2 to the 5V via on the usb host shield to get it to work. My first crack at desoldering the thing didn't go very well and I'm not about to invest in a hot air station or vacuum iron so... I'll give it another...

    WTB WTB USB2DB15 Adapter

Yup, and the db15 connector has screw posts instead of screws which I had to remove so the metal plate fell off lol, minor annoyance. Taking a look at this section from the USB2DB15 GitHub, it looks like the steps to provide 5V to USB might not have been followed. With the adapter I received...

    WTB WTB USB2DB15 Adapter

I actually just ordered 4 of those aliexpress ones and mine doesn't work either lol. I sent a message to the seller and was also planning to get a programmer and try flashing as well. I also noticed my stick doesn't receive power from it. Please keep us posted on how it goes and I'll do the same.

    (SOLVED) Sprite ram NG 24000000

Necroing a very old post, but just wanted to update that the problem was some of the PPU legs had lifted and after soldering them back into place the board is working great! :D Thanks again GoldenGlover, your comments here were a big help in understanding the issue.

    FS Candy cabs Canada

Hey twon, I asked about the NACs in the FGC Discord. Just wanted to drop a post here to stay in the loop. I'm in the downtown Toronto core. If all looks good I'd be interested in 2 NACs and 2 stools. Thanks for making this happen.

    (SOLVED) Sprite ram NG 24000000

Here's a photo of the back! Noted - I may or may not actually attempt that myself, SMD soldering is not something I'm experienced with... I let it run about 15-20 minutes and it never got alarmingly hot - stayed about the same temp as the other 4 chips around it!

    (SOLVED) Sprite ram NG 24000000

Thanks so much for the information! I hope these pictures are good enough. I've tried to find any traces that might be damaged and I haven't seen anything yet. It's great to know the part I can replace the sprite ram with! The sprite ram feels very slightly warm after letting the game run the...

    (SOLVED) Sprite ram NG 24000000

Hi! My cps3 was working perfectly very recently. I moved, it sat in a box for about a month unused, and I bought one of TRFightStick's metal enclosures to put it in. I don't know if I damaged something while putting it in the enclosure or if it suffered some damage during the move, wish I...
