Hey all!

I’m looking for at least $100 USD of 100 Japanese Yen coins for our Gacha machines!

My friend and I bought 4 late 90’s to 00’s YUJIN Slim-Boys and we are setting them up in our store and have fixed them up.

But because their so old and other complications we decided 100 yen coins would be the best option.

ahhhh I see, and to your knowledge, do you think these would work in an older YUJIN slim boy machine in the photos?
The Diameter is correct, but the weight seems a bit low, would that affect the older models? I have always wondered that.
Diameter: 22,6 mm

Thickness: 1.6mm

Plating: Iron

Weight: About 4.5 g for 1 token

i never laid eyes on one till i saw this post, but if it takes 100 yen coins, it will fit these as well, u will just need to remove the magnet in the coin mech

The slim boy mechs do not use magnets or counter weights or anything like that. I tore the entire mechanism apart on those units last year. Its a simple size comparison mech that uses some spring loaded arms to make sure the coin is the correct size. Changing the price is as simple as moving a combination of two sliders and that changes the arms to allow multiple coins to stack.
I could get the unit to take nickles iirc lol. I tried doing quarters but it takes some further modding iirc to do that so I didnt go that far with it.

Basically all it does is uses some spring loaded arms to check the size if the size is correct this allows/unlocks the crank for the gatcha machine to engage fully and let you turn it all the way. When you turn the handle back then it reengages for the next payment etc.

Yeah I just took one apart and noticed no magnet haha, I’m not sure about Nickels but I like the idea.

But these little *****s are dangerous! I almost lost em like 10 times!

Yeah be careful tearing the mech down because theres several springs for the levers as you showed that can fly away and they arent very big lol.
I had one fly off on me and took me a bit to find it lol
