I got a 2 slot with no picture. Possible no sound ? Not sure if these make a sound when they boot up.

Any ideas where to start ? Cab and JAMMA harness work. Tested on another pcb

A working mobo is $100, so probably not, but I'm curious if James can (will?) fix it.

Gotcha, I have decent soldering experience and looking at this... it would take me at least 4+ hours. It goes further than this picture, since it was in a dynamo it was slanted and this acid seemed to have gone down a good 4 inches worth
 
So, is 4+ hours of your time worth $100 I guess... mine doesn't seem as bad as yours, want a shot at fixing it?

I'm gonna mull over it for a few days, if a 2 slot or 4 slot pops up that works with no issues. I'd rather take that. I have an event I'm hosting these arcades end of August.

A single slot is $100, doubles are more, but $100-200 is very common. Just check eBay, even with the increase in prices they are not too bad.

Cheapest I can find a 2 slot on the ebays is $300 unless I delve into the faulty ones... granted I did get an "untested" four slot recently for a bit over $100 that so far was just really dirty (may have audio issues but need to deoxidize the potentiometers before I can say for sure).

Yeah I considered those 4 slots for the $300, and maybe repair this as the days go on for a backup or another machine ? Idk

1 slot = $100, 2 slots are more b/c people want to CMVS them. I wouldn't pay more than $200 for one, I bought this busted one for $60 and I passed on a fully working one on eBay for $190 (I made a bad call!) not last week!
 
Ended up getting a 4 slot for $200 plus shipping. Sucks, but I'll see if I can get this 2 slot working over the next few weeks; at least I'll have a backup and gain some more soldering experience.
