Can a 26L6420 be burnt by 2 half parts as 29L3211?

Hi. I have tried this little experiment for flashing this damn type of flash memory.

As 26L6420 is so special, I imagined it could be burnt as 2 x 29L3211 mode, by tying A21 pin to GND and +3'3V (for accessing to low and high half), changing WE 26L6420 signal to the position of this pin in WE 29L3211.

Has anyone tried this flashing option with success?

I have been testing with various programmers and no cigar basically. You don't sound rude

I'm avoiding to buy a new programmer like Xeltek Superpro 610p, 400€ to the pocket

Gotcha gotcha. I just was curious why you hadn't tried.

I checked all of my programmers for you, but no luck on them being supported devices. Hopefully maybe someone here has one that does support it and can help out!

I have XGECU T56 and GQ 4x4. I can burn all the roms I need today, but 26L6420 still resist, and if I can avoid to buy a new expensive programmer, it would be sweet

It's easy to miss old posts, I only found it and remembered it because I was looking for something similar (a diy tsop56 adapter).
