I hooked up a previously working CPS2 A/B board combo today and was greeted with a RAM TEST OK screen...
The B board works fine with a different A board. I tried reseating all the removable roms on the A-board and gave the edge connector a good cleaning. Looks like the board is receiving 4.9v at the edge connector as well...
Does anybody have any experience with a similar error? I saw an older thread mentioning a possibility about not passing a q-sound test?
I've got decent soldering tools and am hoping to revive it if possible...
