Has anybody been able to do this, i can get it to install a new GPU but when it reboots it still puts up a ? by the pieve of hardware as if it doesnt keep the information ?

There is a write filter enabled, so on each reboot the writes are undone.
I'm not sure how it's disabled, probably a service you'll need to disable. but @Niko might be able to explain it better.

Disable EWF - reboot - check if disabled? Yes-> install card + drivers - reboot - check if OK. - enable EWF -> reboot -> Check if EWF still disabled. i'd guess.

aha thanks for that, i now have it running on a 9600 , may even try a 660 now
