Naomi Net dimm Firmware update assistance request

I have a Naomi net dimm with firmware ver2.06. I tried updated firmware with but pi setup but was not working. Looked up info online and found that i would have to use the update disc to update to a higher firmware that will support loading of games via network. Is that correct and if so can somebody help me update the firmware.

I do have a zero pic chip installed and have the jumpers set correctly. I have set the net dimm to ethernet and set an ip.

Currently the only thing i get on the screen is Error 31 This game is not acceptable by the main board. And I believe its suppose to say something like waiting for network.

you can only update with an update GD-rom


Swap Tsop flash so I'll do it

You don't need to replace the flash or update with disc. The firmware update can be netbooted:

Thank for the answer @nem @olum64 . I tried pushing update via raps pi setup, but normally when a net dimm is waiting to receive info it says something like then on screen and mine was not saying that. I think it just said error 31. I was able to ping the netdimm using the pi. But when i tried to push update or game it nerve actually received the data. I already pm'd @Mitsurugi-w and he will update it for me. But thanks for the reply guys.
