Thanks folks, this problem is resolved.
Solution:
Summary of the Issue:
I recently put together a Darksoft Taito F3 multi. After firing it up, I loaded up a game and attempted to play. The games load fine, and button inputs function fine; however, when I attempt to move around I am unable to. The system fails (or refuses) to recognize the directional input from my lever. This happens both in game, and in the test menu (precluding me from being able to actually navigate it). I am using a custom built stick on the Brook Fusion board, with an undamned USB-to-DB15 converter, plugged into a HAS v5 supergun. To verify this isn't a sudden, new issue with the stick itself, I plugged it in and tested it with a couple different arcade games (Mushihimesama, DDP DOJ). Both functioned perfectly, so this appears to be an issue strictly with the Taito F3. I'm just wondering if maybe I missed a setting or something? If anyone has any ideas to remedy this, I'm all ears.
Solution:
- A jumper which switches between spinner and joystick input was set to spinner, and required adjustment.
Summary of the Issue:
- My Taito F3 is not recognizing directional inputs from my stick.
- Button inputs function correctly.
- The input has been tested on other arcades, works fully.
