So I got a junk Sega ST-V board with a very common issue: led lights up, just a black screen. After some research I found that the most common cause for that are dead SH2 HD6417095 (there are two of them) or disconnected solder points due to board bending. After some inspection, one of the SH2 chips seem nice, but the other one had some corrosion. I removed it using hot air and yeah, some of its little legs were eaten.
So I was wondering, does anybody here have a spare (working) SH2 HD6417095 for sale? I would really want to own a working Sega ST-V but they aren't easy to come by so I hope I can fix this one...
