For anyone who doesn't know why they'd want a Vita: PS Vita was an amazing indie platform before Switch took the crown, and IMO has better mobile ergonomics. They can be soft modded. While the proprietary memory cards are expensive, there are cheap micro SD adapters that go into the cartridge slot.

Yet another great experience with @sheep_nova , who hooked me up with a Spectral vs. Generation PGM cart I've been after for a while. Good price, packed well, works great!

FWIW my NBA Jam is not abnormally dark, and AFAIK it only differs from TE in the PLCC chip and the ROMs.
