Hello

The first thing to do is a 30 to 45-minute microscope inspection of the board to look for corrosion.

After that, install a 40-pin socket and run the diagnostic BIOS.

I would start by checking all the continuity around the L0-ROM above the top cartridge slot then move on to the LSPC2-A2 + (microscope inspection) and the entire graphics section coming from the cartridge (left side of the both cartridge slots). I’d say it’s a continuity issue on the mobo in my opinion.

The LSPC2 area tends to have rather loose pins over time due to poor solder quality on certain board revisions.

Also check the traces running on both the solder side and the component side near the cartridge slot (top, left, and underneath) — they’re often corroded or partially eaten away.

I feel like the first step before opening the console would be to verify the issue isn't just with the cart. :)

Have you tried another cart or just cleaning the contacts?

For sure, I assume test cart, cleaning contact on cart and console was already done ;-)

Thanks for the answers, I already tried another game with same results. Cart and pins were throughly cleaned, and also pretty much every graphic trace was checked, between LSPC and B1 and cart slot.
I'm in the middle of moving out, so I can't test much, I'll get back when I settled.
