Thanks for review!Just a little point out.The cards adds addtional 2MB to the exisistig 2MB of the Marty. On the bottom side of the card there are other four 512KB RAM chips (so other 2MB) but I never populated them to see if it actually adds further 2MB (so 4MB in total) .So, this card is tested as a 2MB RAM expansion![]()
i still plan on making one but my Marty died (frozen boot screen) before I could even install the expansion module. They aren't cheap, so I'm waiting for a step-by-step help from a very knowledgeable maker. He's a busy guy, so I'm taking whatever time he can give to help.Has anyone ever created a 3D printed case for the RAM Expansion yet? I recently purchased one of the RAM boards, but I don't like the idea of leaving the bare unprotected board plugged into my Marty.
Does it just need a recap or what?i still plan on making one but my Marty died (frozen boot screen) before I could even install the expansion module. Plan is to have a large plastic slide switch with a little hole for the real switch to go into, this would protrude through the lid to allow to slide on/off. I’m having fun learning - this is the first 3D print I have designed myself from the ground up.Very good job.How do you think to handle the ON/OFF switch?
