Hi everyone, which Neo Geo base is best for the Darksoft MVS cartridge? I have the MV1B with Unibios 4.0, and the sound either doesn't come out, cuts out during games, or doesn't come out at all. Thanks for your help.

There is a volume potentiometer on your motherboard that sounds like its failing. Replace it and you should have perfectly working sound.

Good evening, but it works for me with other games where the sound does work, I think that's why it's not coming.

These carts seem to be finicky with audio. Many people suggest making sure you have a stable 5 volts measurable at the cart slot to resolve it. It seems to help, or at least alter the behavior.

I still get issues from time to time even after this tuning. Maybe the only real solution is a beefier and more stable psu in my cab?

Funciona con otros cartuchos, pero el cartucho MVS Darksoft funciona con algunos juegos, como Metal Slug o Spine. No funciona con Windjammers. Esto les ha pasado a otras personas, como ya se ha comentado.

Right on. That's the issue. some PCBs are very big and the power disipates when it reaches the cartridge, something that might be OK with original carts, but the multi needs more AMPs than an original cart.
