Picked up the CPS1 32N1 from @lydz and had an issue with the video. PM lydz in which he responded that the B and C board connection was not good. Turns out I hindered the connection when I plugged in the kick hardness.

Gave the boards a good press on the 4 points, fired it up, and I am good to go!

Very happy with my purchase. Google translation did wonders for the Taobao transactions as well as for the alipay payment service.

The box was a bit roughed up but it made it to Honolulu in one piece.

Is that Street Fighter Alpha at 00:51? I thought it was a CPS-2 game.

How do the cps1.5 games run?

It cost me $275 shipped to Hawaii.

The games run flawlessly but a few games, I believe 3, like The Punisher have sound issues. It sounds like other games sound effects are mixed in. If I put it on mute, I can't tell anything is wrong.

When I first got it, it didn't work properly(would not boot games) so I emailed @lydz who responded that it's the connection with the b board and c board. That did fix the initial issue but still waiting for his response on the sound issue. I inquired to see if it's repairable on my end.

Other than those sound issues, the rest of the games run as normal. Love that I can still do all the guile glitches in SF2.

But is to be expected as those are cps1.5 games with qsound, so most likely they mixed in other SFX to make it work on cps1.
But good to hear the ‘real’ cps1 game work fine!

Awww, I wasn't too familiar with the 1.5 and qsound. Makes sense on why they mixed.

Cool, looks like they did their best to get the 1.5 games on board but I treat those games as a bonus.
