What do you think about the 1P panel look.

I have to put some distance between joystick and buttons because of the Coin Mech.

I like the idea and designing for a Sanwa JLF mounted without the metal plate would reduce the footprint and allow for a closer spacing.
I also like the two buttons on the left that @Derick2k suggested.

@Lemony Vengeance I would be interested in the wiring for the isolation transformer.
@hursit I would also be interested in 1 player panel. As the cab is very small it would be more comfortable. Sitting position would be in the center of the cab instead of slightly top one side.

I have a feeling that this Cute project - while a pain in the ass for a few of you - is going to be such a hugely defining, special moment for everyone who took part it in. Repro, minty fresh cab, others chipping in to make the wiring process more simple, you've got possible future MiSTercade options to run games on it, tons of panel options, artwork options for the marquee.


With every person who is in on panels and parts, this feels more and more special. You guys should be stupid proud.

Man I slept away most of today. I think I'm finally starting to feel re-energized from the last week of cabinet moving/work. That means I'm finally going to reach out to the SoCal bunch and people getting STI deliveries, I owe you all shipping quotes and contract numbers. OK, everything for the ISO proof of concept harness has been ordered. I will be making 5 (one for me, three for locals, one to sell), after which I will put up a separate thread to get interest.

This won't be like my PRAS harness thing.. I have ALL the parts for that and ZERO time to make them.

..besides, this is a smaller build and should be easier than figuring shit out for four DIFFERENT cabinets

I installed the monitor today (WG K7000 19") It fits like a glove & bezel lines up . I'm just waiting on the speakers and iso to arrive so I can can finally enjoy this little guy. Hursuit really knocked this one out of the park and also gotta thank David, these guys went above and beyond getting these made and shipped out across seas with so many obstacles along the way!

Sounds about right, the cute is only 19.5" wide I think.
