Sega blast city ms9-2930 - 31khz doesn’t seems to work

S’agit de trouver une autre source pour s’assurer que le problème est pas le recallbox mais bien l’écran avec le 31
 
no , i’m using the exact same configuration as mr hide in his video. a recalbox connected to the jamma , all switch are in off position to select 31khz to the jamma and i’ve no image . it does works with 15khz
 
je vais recevoir un adaptateur vga dreamcast dimanche pour essayer… je n’ai rien d’autre à brancher sur le
peigne jamma malheureusement…
 
hello guys, just ran some test

if i switch from 15khz to 31khz just as the video of mr hide the screen shut down (i can hear a « clack » sound so i have no image but the sound is ok. if i reboot the blast switch and switch to 15khz i will have no image.

i must disconnect the 220v behind the tht and reinsert it to make the 15khz working again
 
That is normal behavior to have to wait in the event something shuts down. Seems the monitor changed res but something shut it down.

I am guessing your monitor needs rebuilt if it has not been already. You should get some raster. If you do adj the hh31 pot as cruz mentioned you could try ensuring it is at center at least.
 
Yeah. Last thing would be to adjust pots. You could also put menu mode in 15k like mrhide. And see if that displays when dips are in 31k mode. You should see something. If you dont something needs worked on.

You could also pull remote board out and meter the continuity on dip switch with dmm. Sometimes the switches can fail and its not switching anything. Its not too common but can happen.

i can’t find the potar hh31 in the scheme , is anyone know where is the hh31 on a blast city ?

i’ll double check d the d switch with a metter
 
It's not an issue with horizontal hold. Try the DE15 connector, see if it works with the dips set correctly. If it doesn't, then the chassis is faulty.

EDIT: wait, it shuts down when set to 31khz? Then it's definitely faulty.

hi team i’ve noticed something on the backplate , it seems that both « ground » connector are not installed , can it cause my issue ? i,ve noticed that the sticking paste is not applied on the 3 white pot next to the tht
