Shienryu System Assignments?

For some reason I can't get Shienryu to load.

Not available with system assignments.

I have the system assignments set to 2p and Vert.

Now what?

What's happening? It's successfully programmed, you get to patent notice screen? And after that it's a black screen?

Power off, press and hold the test button, it will bring up a 'hidden' test menu. Select the option to test the slave cpu and check the result.

Is it maybe an issue like some NAOMI games where if the coin mechanism isn't present (or spoofed) the game won't run?

This pic says SeaBass Fishing but it does the same thing on Shienryu...

Try 1p vert. Seems to be a 2p game but it might work. As far as I know JAMMA boards don't have a way to check for coin mechs like JVS does.

Man if I hadn't left all of my ST-V stuff back in NC I would verify this stuff for you.

Ok, checked everything out in that menu, everything seems fine including the slave cpu.
