Super contra rom test all bad??

Actually everything seems to be playing upside down now that I flipped the screen. Weird things pop up or flip upside down on the attract screen. I also can’t change the difficulty or turn the demo sound on from the dip switches

I can tell you I have a super contra and the Rom test should come back good.

Yeah it is the dual board.
I just noticed on the three banks of dip switches , the first 1-4 dips work on bank 1 and bank 2. 5-8 do not work on those. The third bank is only 4 dips and they all work. If I flip the first dip switch on bank 3 it’ll flip the picture right side up and that’s when all the glitching starts happening. When the dip switch is off so the game is playing upside down , all the glitching goes away :/

That’s an interesting read. Although I don’t have graphical corruption like he did , and with the dips set to play upside down my game plays perfectly fine

if you're getting BAD graphics ROMs in the test mode then you have graphics issues, even if you don't notice it yet.
