Just got a TTT pcb, installed it in a cab previously running Soul Calibur. Figured the buttons wouldn't be right, but just wanted to fire it up and see what we're working with.

Unfortunately it's just running through the JVS tests over and over and never moving past that. It's currently hooked up via JAMMA.

Any ideas what I need to do to get past this?

Is it recapped? Some of the SMD caps just fell off mine when I poked it. Recapping it solved all problems. This thread had documentation:

When I power the game off the JST-VL port, it will show that init screen.

When powered off jamma, I never see that screen.

While it may not be the answer, that that might help with troubleshooting.

If you look at the jvs i/o section down below it's saying, "nothing". It could be frozen because it's waiting for controls. No controls = no game. Lots of jvs games refuse to boot unless you have a jvs i/o installed.

i have the same problem, listen here:
1) are you using side jvs power connector or jamma ?

Checking this power connector its have only 5v, so i think its waiting for USB JVS input
If you try to power on using jamma, so connect the 12v rail... its will not waiting for USB since you are using jamma.

This is what happen when i using only 5v instead of both 5v + 12v
Please check and tell me what happen. its usefull for my test.

Ah! I am one of  those people! I forgot to post after fixing the problem!

I was able to get the board running after disassembling the three boards, cleaning the contacts between boards, and reassembling. Seems a dirty header was the culprit.
