WTB Vewlix Locks

Do you want the official Taito ones or just any kind of lock in general? It’s tricky because apparently those locks are measured in metric while most are commonly solid in inches.
What I’ve seen commonly recommended are 5/8 locks, particularly these ones: https://a.co/d/0UEpjFw Apparently they will not fit flush due to measurements but I hear the Taito ones are very expensive, but HOPR to hear more about people’s experiences getting them in 2024.
Do you have the tangs? Because those also are kind of different in the lock bar inside the control panel.
I haven’t gotten to ordering some for my Vewlixes just yet so can’t give my personal opinion on them unfortunately.

Thanks for the info. I read somewhere they were 7/8 so i bought those..now i buy the 5/8 also...don't know what tangs are, hope mine has them. My vewlix is with the shipping company. Will be here in about 2 weeks just getting everything ready for then.

Tangs are those metal tongue things that rotate and block the door from opening.
Don’t forget some cleaning supplies like Krud Kutter. Some of the Vewlix’s can be real dirty, especially since some have been in operation in Smokey places for like 16 years lol.
