Hello Everyone!

We finally managed to get Namco System 1 Multi ready! Someone fancy Splatterhouse? Or Dangerous Seed? Maybe Dragon spirit? :thumbsup:

As you can see in the picture below it's a pretty big PCB. It supports all games! As each game has some security in place, you need patched versions of these.

We wanted to make something simple, that would allow for inmediate change of games without too much hassle programming the flashes. Similar to what @Apocalypse is doing but with less chips to program.

Adding the usual microcontroller + microSD + LCD would have made the...

Yeah that was pre-covid. The price jumped a lot because of the shortages. Not sure what i can do because now I'm dealing with tariffs instead bit I'll try.

Looks like I'm going to do a special price for people who will pre-pay. The price takes into account the higher costs for a smaller batch than large production used before plus general part increases over the last 5 years but it will still be less than the last stocked price.

Pre-sale price will be $450.

After pre-sales close the price will go up to $500. The programming adapter is not included. This will come with the same remote Dip pcb as before but I will attempt to adapt an tft color selector to work with it also.

The parts I will order with the pre-sales have an 8-week delivery time after I order them. So shipping of multis should be expected within 12 weeks from pre-sale close. I will need to sell around 20 units to cover the minimum order quantity of the parts.

I will begin taking pre-sales in a week or so. I didnt want to interfere too much with the Darksoft System 2 preorders.

Feel free to ask questions and discuss in the meantime.
